So, how busy are all of you? Crazy busy here!!! We've had a very hectic month of December, but one of the highlights has to be all the fun stuff Sarah has put out this month! She's had amazing goodies at both her home site of Funky Playground, and as a guest at ScrapMatters.

Anyway...this weekend is New Year's Eve...how are you going to scrap your pictures? You can spend your money on a New Year's themed kit (and there are some great ones out there, I know), or you could pick up a great kit you could use for more layouts later on! It's Monday, and hopefully we have all survived the craziness of the holidays. My family celebrated at our last (of eight) Christmas parties last night, so I am happy to start to get back into a normal routine. And for me, that means scrapping!

One thing I love to do when scrapping is to use a themed kit for a layout that has nothing to do with that theme whatsoever. It may be a birthday kit that I use for a baby layout, or a beach kit that I use for an Easter layout. It's fun to challenge myself to think outside the box, and I usually end up loving the results! Plus, it's a great way to stretch your bucks and use kits over and over again.

Clearly, this is an AMAZING Christmas kit! But I love the colors in the kit and realized that it would be perfect for some photos of my girls doing a craft. So here's the layout I created that is totally NON-Christmasy:

Daily Download Day 15 - Alpha

Hello everyone! Sarah here bringing your last daily download freebie. Is everyone ready for the holidays? I still need to plan the menu for Christmas dinner and buy what I need, mail out Christmas cards and wrap presents! I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

I hope you've enjoyed all the goodies my creative team have shared with you. I'm am truly lucky to have such an amazing group of girls to work with!

I want to tell you a little bit about myself in case you are new to my designs. I started designing during the design contest at Funky Playground last April. I was lucky enough to be one of the contest winners and started selling there in June. You can find my shop HERE. I am a SAHM to my 2 year old boy and 1 year old girl and we live in Indiana. My children tend to be the biggest inspiration in my designs since I am creating to scrap for them, but I also enjoy putting pretty kits together. I feel as though I grow each time I create and one of the wonderful things about digital is that the possibilities are endless.

I am so envious and proud of Sarah. I mean WOW!! Look at all she has accomplished in the short amount of time she's been designing. She's been working her tail off to create QUALITY products. One of the things I've noticed in digital scrapbooking, is that not every has a good eye for quality. I love everything that Sarah has made. They're truly versatile. And they're different. She's able to give each product something to make it unique. And it varies from really fancy to really fun. When I saw this kit:

I knew I wanted to use it. I love the colors and it's unique color scheme. But I couldn't for the life of me decide how I wanted to use it. I found a way to use it. And then I used it again and made this layout. I love how it turned out.I was going to turn it into a template. But really there isn't much to it because I used Sarah's Cut It Out (Volume 1) for all the little squares, and really that would have been the most time consuming part. So instead of turning it into a template to give away, I decided to make some wordart for you.

Sarah is so super busy this month, creating both for her "regular" store, at Funky Playground Designs, and as an amazing guest designer at ScrapMatters. She put out the incredible Old Time Christmas kit at ScrapMatters on Friday, and yesterday, at Funky Playground, she released the gorgeous, funky, new kit Merry and Bright! How lucky are all of you? Two incredibly cool, incredibly different Christmas kits within 3 days?
